SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | FAMOUS FOOTWEAR, North Bend
On September 28th around 6:30PM, an employee reported that two shoplifters from the previous day had returned to the store wearing the shoes they had stolen yesterday. That theft had not been reported, though, and the employee said if the two returned they would request they be trespassed from the store.

ANIMAL PROBLEM | JACOBIA ST & SNOQUALMIE PKWY
On September 30th around 6:40PM a resident found a golden lab running loose and brought it to the police station. SPD put the dog’s photo on social media which helped locate the owner. Pup and human reunited.

ASSAULT IN-PROGRESS | MT SI GOLF COURSE
On September 30th around 7:15PM an employee reported that four subjects, who were part of a wedding reception, were pushing and shoving each other. An officer responded and made contact with three males and one female – the only people still at the reception. The officer reported there were no signs of assault and none of the four were “admitting to fault.”

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | SE ORCHARD DR, North Bend
On September 30th around 10:30PM a caller reported hearing someone trying to open their door. An officer responded and performed an area check where it was discovered that a yard umbrella was flying around due to strong winds. The officer contacted the residents who put their umbrella away. The officer reported that the residents were ‘back in bed safe.”

CITIZEN ASSIST | SNOQUALMIE ELEMENTARY
On October 2nd around 10AM a caller reported safety concerns with a student, saying a parent is often asleep in the pick-up lanes waiting for her child. The caller said according to school staff the mother could sometimes be difficult to wake up. SPD advised the caller to notify Child Protective Services as there was currently no criminal activity.

JUVENILE PROBLEM | SE RIVER ST & FALLS AVE SE, Snoqualmie
On October 2nd around 9:45PM a caller reported several juveniles – late teens to early 20’s – throwing lemons near cars and buildings. An officer responded and made contact with three juveniles. Parents were called and arrived at the scene to “handle it accordingly.”

ANIMAL PROBLEM | SE KINSEY ST, Snoqualmie
On October 3rd around 6:30PM a caller reported that a squirrel was reportedly in her garage and she could not get it out. She requested an officer to help her. Eventually the woman reported she got ‘the squirrel free.’
