Police Blotter | garage band needs to call it quits; night skaters upset neighbor; bag of drugs found in T-Mobile store; $600 alcohol theft

Here are a few of the calls the Snoqualmie Police Department respond to in North Bend and Snoqualmie during the past two weeks.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | KING ST & SILVA AVE, Snoqualmie

On April 20th around 6:10PM, an officer pulled over a subject for a traffic violation. During the stop, the officer observed different license plates hidden under the rear plates. Further investigation was needed to determine ownership, but the plates were seized.

THEFT IN PROGRESS | WILSONS LEATHER, North Bend

On April 23rd around 6:20PM, police responded to a report of multiple thefts at the outlet mall. The subject was arrested, positively identified, and booked into Issaquah County Jail.

THEFT IN PROGRESS | SAFEWAY, North Bend

On April 23rd around 6:55PM, a caller reported that someone had stolen over $600 worth of alcohol from the store. The subject was gone by the time police arrived. His identification is under investigation.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF IN-PROGRESS | 400 BENDIGO BLVD, North Bend

On April 24th around 7:40PM, a caller reported that a man in an orange hoodie was spray painting underneath the bridge, but police were unable to locate him.

DRUG PROBLEM | T-MOBILE, Snoqualmie

On April 25th around 4:25PM, a caller reported finding a bag of meth in the bathroom of the T-Mobile store. A report was filed and the drugs were placed into evidence.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | PARK AVE SE, Snoqualmie

On April 26th around 8:15PM, a caller reported two unknown subjects on the porch of a vacant house who appeared to be doing drugs. Police responded, cleared the house, and trespassed the subject from the street for one year.

VEHICLE PROWL REPORT | 456TH PL SE North Bend

On April 27th around 11:00AM, a caller reported that their unlocked car had been broken into and items stolen.

NOISE COMPLAINT | WILDE AVE SE, Snoqualmie

On April 27th around 10:20PM, a caller reported that loud bass and drums coming from their neighbor’s house. Police responded to the house and found a teenage band practicing in the garage. The officer spoke with the mother and told them band practice needed to be done for the night and they complied.

WELFARE CHECK | SE NORTH BEND WAY, North Bend

On April 28th around 3:00PM, a caller reported that there was an elderly woman with a walker on the side of the road who appeared to need help. Police contacted the woman and found that she was fine, just using her new walker to get a snack and enjoy the nice day. She said she will call if she needs any assistance.

SOLICITORS/PEDDLERS | SE BURKE ST, Snoqualmie

On April 29th around 1:55PM, a caller reported a young man trying to sell a leaf service door-to-door. The caller said that the subject seemed very surprised to find someone home, which seemed suspicious. Police made contact with the solicitor and warned him to get a license.

SOLICITORS/PEDDLERS | BYBEE CT SE, Snoqualmie

On April 29th around 6:35PM, police responded to reports of suspicious solicitors going to door-to-door. Police made contact with the subjects, who were employees from a pest control company, and warned them that they need a business license. They said their manager had one but they did not. They left the area upon request.

ALCOHOL-RELATED OFFENSES | 76 STATION, Snoqualmie

On April 30th around 12:05PM, a caller reported an ongoing problem with construction workers from the high school coming to the location in a golf cart, buying beers, and going back to work. They had just left in their golf cart when the reporting person called. Police were unable to locate them.

DISTURBANCE | SE NORTHERN ST, Snoqualmie

On April 30th around 2:10PM, a caller reported hearing screaming and banging noises from her neighbors while she was outside mowing her lawn. Police responded and separated the parties. It was a family argument, verbal only.

HIT & RUN ACCIDENT | SE RIDGE ST & WARREN AVE SE, Snoqualmie

On May 1st around 9:20PM, a caller reported that an unknown subject hit their car and fled the scene. There were no injuries and the vehicle damage was minimal.

AREA CHECK | NORTH BEND LIBRARY, North Bend

On May 3rd around 12:05AM, an officer checked the area after receiving reports of people sleeping there. They located personal belongings but did not see anyone.

ANIMAL PROBLEM | SE JACOBIA ST, Snoqualmie

On May 3rd around 11:05AM, a caller reported a dog running off leash on the astro turf at the park. The reporting person told the dog’s owner that the dog couldn’t be on the turf and the owner cursed at him and told him to mind his own business.

DISTURBANCE | YMCA, Snoqualmie

On May 3rd around 10:40PM, police responded to a report of an intoxicated man yelling at kids at the skate park for being too loud and grabbing their skateboards. Police told the skaters that the park was closed for the night. No crimes were committed and all parties went home.
