Police Blotter | Frosty Chicken Chase, Fraudulent Purse Claimer Arrested, Child not Closing Door Leads to Worry

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | SNOQUALMIE

December 1, 2014; Reported at 2:25PM

A Snoqualmie resident called to report that he and two of his neighbors had their garage door key pads stop functioning. He stated he was concerned of possible criminal activity reference the occurrence. He was advised to be vigilant and call if anything else suspicious occurred.

THEFT REPORT  | BOALCH AVE NW, North Bend 

December 1, 2014; Reported at 4:49PM

A person called to report that his vehicle’s gas had been siphoned by unknown suspects. The caller reported about $70 of gas was stolen from his tank.

DISTURBANCE | E NORTH BEND WAY

A woman called to report that her estranged husband was driving past her home yelling profanities at her.  Police responded by the subject was gone upon the officer’s arrival.

ANIMAL PROBLEM |  SNOQUALMIE POINT PARK

December 2, 2014; Reported at 7:18PM

Police located two chickens that were apparently dumped by the roundabout near the park. The chickens were still alive, but frosted over. A Snoqualmie Police explorer called his parents, who picked up the chickens after a 15 minute “round-em up” through the woods. The chickens were reported to be doing fine.

THEFT REPORT |  NORTH BEND SAFEWAY

December 2, 2014; Reported at 11:53AM

A woman left her purse, with checkbook, credit cares, cell phone and cash, in a shopping cart in the Safeway parking lot. A male in the lot told the woman that he had turned it into the Safeway customer service desk.  When woman contacted the desk she was told someone had already claimed it from them.  The store’s security cameras recorded the person who claimed the woman’s purse.

Officers responded and were advised that the suspects are two subjects from earlier incidents at the store, whom police detained later that afternoon. One female was arrested, her vehicle towed, and taken into custody.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES |  W NORTH BEND WAY

December 3, 2014; Reported at 9:33AM

A person called to report a subject passed out in a vehicle parked near the Pour House. The person said the vehicle’s window was open and the man had a seatbelt on and was slouched over in the driver’s seat.  The caller did not stop to check on the subject so it the subject’s medical status was unknown.

Police responded. The subject was a known transient, sleeping in a vehicle.

CITIZEN ASSIST | AUTUMN AVE SE, Snoqualmie

December 5, 2014; Reported at 9:26AM

A caller reported she came home and found unknown items and things moved around on her front porch and thinks someone is coming around her home when she is away at work. She requested extra patrols of her neighborhood.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | SE MCCULLOUGH ST, Snoqualmie

December 5, 2014; Reported at 9:40AM

A caller reported finding her home’s back door open with a wet footprint outside of her home. It was discovered that her child had not closed the door.
