Police Blotter | Early morning Streakers; officer generosity; searching for scrap wood

Here are a few of the calls the Snoqualmie Police Department responded to in North Bend and Snoqualmie during the past week.

STREAKERS ON THE LOOSE | SILENT CREEK AVE, Snoqualmie

On July 14th at 3:45AM a caller reported that a large group of teenage boys was running up and down the street naked. An officer responded but was unable to locate the alleged streakers.

CAN I BUY YOU A MEAL | NORTH BEND McDONALDS

On July 14th at 10:15AM a caller reported a transient couple was asking for food money in the parking lot. An officer responded. There was no crime. The officer bought the couple a meal. They had enough money for some gas.

THAT’S NOT YOUR WOOD | SE HALL ST, Snoqualmie

On July 14th 8:30PM a caller reported a male and female collecting wood from housing construction sites and putting it in the back of their truck.  An officer responded and made contact with the couple who stated they were looking for scrap wood. The officer advised them to return the wood and obtain written permission from the builder prior to entering construction sites.

PURSE THEFT | NORTH BEND SAFEWAY

On July 15th at 1:30PM an employee reported that shopper had her purse stolen while in the store. Surveillance video recorded the purse-takers leaving the store in a gold Ford Explorer. The suspects were tracked to the Snoqualmie Casino with the help of Tribal Security. Three people were taken into custody, cited and released.

NO BEER ON SIDEWALK |  NORTH BEND CHEVRON STATION

On July 18th at 6PM two males were cited for drinking in public after being discovered by an officer drinking cans of beer on the sidewalk.
