Police Blotter | Catalytic Converter Theft; Woman in Labor; Wrong Way Driver

February 28, 2023

An officer responded to the vicinity of SE Park Street and Meadowbrook Way SE for an accident involving a bicycle and a vehicle. The bicyclist hit his head and suffered a leg injury. He was transported to the hospital by EMTs. 

February 27, 2028

A caller reported a catalytic converter was cut off a vehicle over the weekend. The repair was estimated at $2,000. No suspects were identified. 

February 27, 2023

An officer detained two individuals after shoplifting merchandise at a North Bend Outlet Mall store. The merchandise was valued at $935. It was determined both subjects had arrest warrants, with one being a felony warrant. One of the individuals ‘slipped his cuffs and claimed to have swallowed drugs.’ EMTs were called for an evaluation. Once the EMTs cleared the subject, both were booked into jail on their warrants. The officer also forwarded theft charges. 

February 28, 2023

An officer responded to the Mt. Si Golf Course for the report of an unwanted subject on the 10th hole. The person had previously trespassed from the property for three years. He was charged with second-degree criminal trespass. 

February 28, 2023

Officers were called to the Mt. Si Chevron gas station for a female in labor in a vehicle in the parking lot. Officers assisted until aid crews arrived. The female admitted to using drugs hours before going into labor. She was taken to the hospital, and a social worker was notified. 

March 2, 2023

An officer stopped a wrong-way drive on I-90 near exit 25 (Snoqualmie Parkway). The driver told the officer his windows were too fogged to see the roadway. He was arrested on his felony warrant and transported to jail. A search of the subject also found drugs and drug paraphernalia, which were seized. 

March 3, 2023

A male subject came to the lobby of the police station to report a dispute with a female whom he said was across the street in the grocery store parking lot. After speaking to the female at her residence, it was determined that there was an active protection order in which the male was to have no contact with the female. He was booked into the Issaquah Jail for violation of the protection order. 

March 4, 2023

An individual reported that their vehicle had been stolen from the Salish Lodge after the owner left the keys.

March 5, 2023

Officers responded to Snoqualmie Point Park after multiple callers reported three subjects firing a gun. One caller stated it did not appear they were shooting at anyone, just being reckless. An officer made contact with the subjects, and it was determined one of the three males had fired his pistol in the park while others were walking, jogging, and hiking in the vicinity. He was arrested and booked into the Issaquah Jail on Reckless Endangerment, Minor in Possession, and Having a Weapon in a Prohibited Place. 

March 5, 2023

An officer responded to a North Bend gas station for the report of vehicle theft in progress. The driver left his car running and entered the gas station. Upon returning to the vehicle, he found an unknown subject inside who fled on foot. An officer located the unknown subject, who was booked into the Issaquah Jail for second-degree attempted theft and an ignition interlock violation.
