Police Blotter | Busy night at the Sure Shot; expensive wine thief chased to Issaquah; awoken by attempted siphoning; bickering guests

Here are a few of the calls the Snoqualmie Police Department responded to in North Bend and Snoqualmie during the past two weeks:

DISTURBANCE | SURE SHOT, North Bend

On April 28th around 11:30PM, an officer contacted an intoxicated subject who was refusing to pay his tab at the bar. The subject said that the bartender had already given him his card back so she must’ve run it already. She said he never gave her his credit card. With the police on the scene, the subject provided his credit card and the bartender ran it. The officers also observed the subject cursing at the bartender. The bar requested that the subject be trespassed permanently. The officers issued the subject a trespass notice, which he signed. The subject said that he was going to cancel the bar transaction later. He left on foot and was warned about disorderly conduct laws.

TRESPASSING IN-PROGRESS | SURE SHOT, North Bend

On April 29th around 12:15AM, in reference to the report above, the trespassed subject returned to the bar, where he was arrested.

DUI/PHYSICAL CONTROL | SURE SHOT, North Bend

On April 29th around 1:55AM, a caller reported an intoxicated subject attempting to leave in a vehicle. An officer contacted the reporting person, who was with the subject walking away from the bar. The subject didn’t have a car, but was having trouble walking and standing because of his level of intoxication. The officer provided him with a courtesy transport home.

THEFT IN-PROGRESS | SAFEWAY, Snoqualmie

On May 1st around 10:15PM, an employee reported that a man had stolen wine from the store. The subject was gone when police arrived. He had just left in a van, driving down the Snoqualmie Parkway. Police pursued him all the way to Issaquah where he was pulled over and arrested. The bottles of wine stolen were worth $500 each.

THEFT IN-PROGRESS | CHEVRON, North Bend

On May 2nd around 3:15AM, a caller reported that he was asleep in his van and awoke to to someone opening his gas tank— a man was attempting to siphon his gas. The reporting person chased the subject off and saw him getting into a car with a woman driver and a baby in the back seat. The caller was disconnected due to poor cell connection before he could give anymore information.

 CITIZEN ASSIST | SALISH LODGE, Snoqualmie

On May 3rd around 12:30AM, a caller reported that two of the hotel guests, a husband and wife, were intoxicated and having a minor altercation. The staff was unsure how to deal with them, so the police arrived and mediated. The guests returned to their room for the night.

BURGLARY REPORT | SE GROSHELL ST, Snoqualmie

On May 4th around 7:35AM, a caller reported that tools had been stolen from an onsite locked storage container.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | SILVA AVE SE, Snoqualmie

On May 4th around 8:15PM, a caller reported hearing doors shut in the shack beside the front of their house. It turned out to be a Snoqualmie PD officer who was conducting an area check.
