  • 80-100 driving daddy’s pickup in a what, 35 or 45 zone? Plus evading arrest. And it gets “handled at home?” Guess it still pays to get chummy with the local politicos, eh?

    1. Washington laws now make it worth your while to run from the police. This story is living proof that only suckers stop for flashing lights and a siren. Why get a ticket worth hundreds of dollars when you can simply accelerate away and pay nothing?

      1. The failure to chase is one issue, but unfortunately not the most important in this case. The problem is the lack of follow through. They had both a plate and a confession. Why isn’t little Billy wearing cuffs and being introduced to Bubba? The most likely answer is that he’s got a severe case of affluenza. Who’s daddy? The chief? The mayor? Someone on the city council? Is mommy in Congress? Does pappy run the casino?

        This is a big deal.
