Pick Up or Plant a Tree on Arbor Day & Green Snoqualmie Day

Honor our urban forests on a combined Arbor Day & Green Snoqualmie Day event held October 17, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Community Park, located at 35016 SE Ridge Street. Socially distanced activities include a drive-thru plant giveaway and an at-home scavenger hunt. Tree planting time slots are available for families or small groups up to five.

Drive-through Plant Giveaway

Celebrate Green Snoqualmie Day at home by planting a native plant in your own yard. Free plants will be offered 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. near the bathrooms at Community Park. Limit 1 per household. First-come first-serve.

Green Snoqualmie Day Scavenger Hunt

Explore and learn about the forested places in the city of Snoqualmie by completing the scavenger hunt, released the week before Green Snoqualmie Day. Completed scavenger hunts will receive an exclusive Green Snoqualmie patch! Check https://forterra.org/event/green-snoqualmie-day-2020 on October 12 to download the scavenger hunt and begin exploring.



Family and Group Planting

Green Snoqualmie is offering 2-hour timeslots (8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.) that a family or small group of up to 5 people can sign up for to plant native trees and shrubs at Snoqualmie’s Community Park. To reserve a time, email info@greensnoqualmie.org.
