Parts of Snoqualmie Ridge Experience Power Outage

Some areas of Snoqualmie Ridge lost power today, Saturday, October 5, 2013 around 10AM.

The outage does not appear to be a whole grid, as some areas near the retail area have power and other streets were without power.

The street light at the intersection of Snoqualmie Parkway and Center Blvd was not functioning either, but police addressed the issue and set up stop signs. Drivers should treat the intersection as a four-way stop until the light is working again. The light at Snoqualmie Parkway and Douglas Ave, one block away, was functioning.

According to some residents without power, Puget Sound Energy (PSE) is aware of the outage, but did not know the cause and could not yet provide a restoration estimate.

A PSE truck was seen on Snoqualmie Parkway, which in prior outages means they are attempting to assess the situation and fix it as soon as possible.

Power was restored about 1:30PM.  No word on what cause the sporadic outage.
