Update: WSDOT has added an additional evening to this work. Thursday evening, July 23, to Friday morning, July 24, crews will close the westbound I-90 on-ramp from eastbound SR 18. The westbound I-90 on-ramp from Snoqualmie Parkway will remain open.
As part of the final paint striping work for the Interstate 90/State Route 18 Interchange Improvements project, crews will begin a series of overnight ramp closures.
What to expect
Crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close on- and off-ramps to apply permanent striping between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. each day.
- Monday evening, July 20 to Tuesday morning, July 21, crews will close the eastbound I-90 off-ramp to westbound SR 18 and northbound Snoqualmie Parkway.
- Tuesday evening, July 21 to Wednesday morning, July 22, crews will close both westbound I-90 on- and off-ramps.
There will be one final closure to apply permanent striping within the I-90/SR 18 diverging diamond interchange the weekend of July 31, with exact dates and times to be determined.
These closures are dependent on dry weather. If rain is in the forecast, they may be rescheduled with short notice.
Detour routes
- Eastbound I-90 on-ramp: usethewestbound I-90 on-ramp and continue to High Point Way, exit 20, and loop back to eastbound I-90.
- Eastbound I-90 off-ramp: continue eastbound on I-90 to North Bend/Snoqualmie (Winery Road), exit 27, and loop back to westbound I-90 and exit at SR 18/Snoqualmie Parkway.
- Westbound I-90 off-ramp: continue on westbound I-90 to High Point Way, exit 20, and loop back to eastbound I-90 and exit at SR 18/Snoqualmie Parkway.
- Westbound I-90 on-ramp: use to the eastbound I-90 on-ramp and continue to North Bend/Snoqualmie (Winery Road), exit 27, and loop back to westbound I-90.
