Open Snoqualmie City Council Position to be Filled by Appointment

The City of Snoqualmie is accepting applications to fill an upcoming vacancy for City Council Position 6. This position is currently held by Council Member Sean Sundwall, whose resignation is effective August 31, 2021. 

The term of the position begins once a candidate is appointed by a majority vote of the City Council and expires after the November 2023 general election results are certified.

Residents interested in applying must have resided in Snoqualmie city limits for at least one year prior to Council appointment and must be a registered Snoqualmie voters. 

Applications are due on Friday, September 10, 2021, no later than 5 p.m. Applications received after that time will not be considered. 

Applications are available on the city website at www.snoqualmiewa.gov. They may also be obtained at Snoqualmie City Hall, 38624 SE River St, between Monday and Thursday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
