Twenty-five years ago, the North Bend Theatre started bringing mountain films to the Snoqualmie Valley. This fall, they’re thrilled to announce the 2026 Mountain Film Festival, their 25th year, and they’d love for you to celebrate with them.
“Twenty-five years is a remarkable milestone,” said Beth Burrows, owner of North Bend Theatre. “Mountain films have brought this community together to celebrate adventure, resilience, and the places we love. We’re so grateful to everyone who has been a part of this event, and we can’t wait to welcome both longtime friends and first-timers for this year’s lineup.”
What began as a simple night of alpine adventure has grown into a tradition this community has made its own. Skiers, climbers, anglers, hikers, paddlers, and dreamers of all kinds have made the Theatre their gathering place at the foot of Mount Si, sharing some of the world’s best outdoor films in good company.
Over the years, the festival has grown from a single event into a season the whole valley looks forward to, with stories of skiing, climbing, fly fishing, conservation, human-powered adventure, and mountain culture. Thousands of you have filled the historic single-screen auditorium to discover new places, cheer on legendary athletes, and make memories together.
This year’s festival features seven marquee events:

- International Fly Fishing Film Festival (IF4) – October 25 at 3:00 PM
- Quality Ski Time Film Tour – October 27 at 7:00 PM
- 5Point Film Festival – November 8 at 5:00 PM
- Teton Gravity Research’s Actually, It Is Rocket Science – November 22 at 3:00 PM
- Matchstick Productions’ The Way Out – November 29 at 3:00 PM
- Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour – December 3-6
- Warren Miller’s Days Off – December 13 at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM
This anniversary season is their thank-you to everyone who has been part of that story, and a welcome to the next generation of adventurers.
