North Bend Special Recycling Event Happens April 24th

The City of North Bend’s annual spring Special Recycling Event happens Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 9AM to 3PM at Snoqualmie Middle School (SMS), 9200 Railroad Ave SE. This year’s event also includes free giveaways with a limited number of prizes for attendees.

Load up your vehicle with accepted items (see list and order to load below) and head to the SMS parking lot where various organizations will take those unwanted items for proper recycling.

The free event is open to King County residents. All attendees are required to adhere to Covid-19 public health guidelines, including wearing masks and remaining in vehicles at all times.

Please do not bring any household paint, pesticides or household chemicals. Those items can be disposed of at a Traveling Wastemobile event scheduled for July 9 – 11 at Cascade View Elementary in Snoqualmie.

In addition to hazardous waste, other items not accepted include petroleum products, oil, oil filters, wood, yard waste, planter pots, construction/demolition debris, propane tanks, closed pressurized tanks, and mattresses.

Note: Due to ever-changing State Covid-19 mandates, this event could be canceled at any time. Please confirm the event on the City website calendar and/or news section prior to participating. Questions about this special recycling
