North Bend ready to throw another Great Block Party; streets close, neighbors gather

It’s almost mid July which means one thing in North Bend: it’s almost Block Party time!  The popular North Bend Downtown Block Party returns on Saturday, July 16th from Noon – 11PM.

Streets will close. Neighbors can gather and enjoy lots of entertainment, live music, great local food and drink and plenty of fun activities – like a petting zoo, mini mountain, bouncy houses, paintball, a scavenger hunt, and more. This year’s headliner bands are Spike and the Impalers and Heart by Heart.

For the second year, Legends Car Show will bring loads of vintage, classic restored cars to North Bend Way on Sunday, July 17th from 9AM to 4PM. There will be  hot rods and American muscle cars, along with fun and games, all day long for the entire family

The annual summer block party always has a great turnout and this year residents are encouraged to jump on their bikes and peddle to the party and use the FREE Bike Valet hosted by the Mount Si Mountain Bike Team.

You can also stop by and check out North Bend’s newest restaurant, Brickyard Brewing and Public House, which scheduled its grand opening for Block Party weekend.

To accommodate the event the following streets will be closed from approximately 6:30AM Saturday, July 16th and will remain closed until 4PM, Sunday, July 17th :
