North Bend Farmers Market Returns to Si View Park June 10th

For fifteen years now, the North Bend Farmers Market has been hosted at the scenic Si View Park framed by a spectacular view of Mount Si. Visitors appreciate this unique setting while shopping for fresh produce, specialty products, gorgeous flowers, tasty treats and handmade gifts.

While we all continue to be impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, Si View Parks is thrilled to be able to expand operations this summer and welcome back more vendors and shoppers. Protecting community health is their highest priority and reflected in their day-to-day operations. Measures such as social distancing, masking up, crowd management, good hand hygiene practices, and monitoring the health of staff and vendors, are all part of the new normal.

Come shop local at the North Bend Farmers Market and taste the difference!

Rain or shine, the North Bend Farmers Market operates each Thursday from 4PM to 8PM through September 9th at Si View Park, 400 SE Orchard Drive.

Many past vendors are returning for the 2021 season, as well as some newcomers. From fresh produce, baked goods, dinner options and artisans, the market offers a little bit of everything. Unfortunately, the Summer Concert Series is not happening, but as pandemic restrictions expire, Si View Parks is hopeful that some form of live concerts will be possible later in the summer.

What to Expect at the 2021 North Bend Farmers Market:

Masking: Masks ARE still required. The market’s King County Health Department operating permit requires masks be properly worn by shoppers, vendors, staff and volunteers. The market is inspected weekly and if masking requirements change, community notification will occur.

Accessing: Enter the farmers market from the single entrance (marked with a large yellow feather welcome flag), follow a one-way traffic pattern inside the market area, and exit from a designated point. This continues to be necessary due to the market’s permit capacity limits. Wait times to enter are not expected as the market footprint is larger than last year, but please use the designated entrance.

Shopping: Vendors request shoppers line up socially distanced when booths are busy. Line markers will be in place and situated in areas so not to interfere with “through traffic”.  Note: This will be particularly important near prepared food vendor booths where wait times may be longer.

Purchasing:  Shoppers can bring reusable bags, but produce vendors will select and bag items.  Most – but not all – vendors accept credit cards. Having some cash on hand is advised.

Pets: It is requested to leave pets at home for now. Although pets will be allowed in the market, the goal is to limit lengthy gathering inside the limited market area so that all community members have a chance to shop.

Gathering: It’s great if you’re planning to meet up with friends at the market, but you’re asked to finish shopping and continue visiting at the park – just outside the limited market area. This includes any meals you might purchase. Due to capacity limits, lengthy gatherings inside the market can cause lines for other community members. Tables are available near the park’s picnic shelter, but all seating inside the market remains closed.
