North Bend Bank Robbery Suspect Flees in Vehicle, FBI Investigator Takes Over

If noticed police activity in the North Bend area Wednesday evening, the Snoqualmie Police Department stated via Twitter on December 9, 2015 at 6:15PM, that a bank robbery occurred at the North Bend Bank of America, located at 128 Bendigo Blvd, at 5:45PM.

A canine tracking unit, as well as multiple officers, responded to the scene to search for the suspect. Numerous residents in the area also reported a helicopter circling and roads blocked in the area of the Bank of America and North Bend Elementary School.

Via press release, the Snoqualmie Police Department stated a Hispanic or Caucasian male, 5’6, thin build, wearing a black jacket with hoody, sun glasses and purple latex gloves entered the bank and demanded money.  The suspect left the bank on foot, westbound, with an unknown amount of currency.

Officers from Issaquah, Bellevue K-9, King County Sheriff’s Office and King County Sheriff’s Office Guardian One helicopter assisted with searching for the suspect.  It was determined, though, that the suspect had a vehicle nearby and fled the scene.

Via Twitter, the Snoqualmie Police Department said it is believed the same suspect from a prior Issaquah bank robbery was involved.

An investigator with the Joint FBI Task Force responded to the bank and has taken over the investigation.
