New Office Building proposed near corner of Snoqualmie Parkway, Swenson Drive

The For Sale sign for a small land parcel adjacent MorningStar Montessori at the corner of Swenson Drive and Snoqualmie Parkway had been standing for the past two years, but now it appears there are plans for the small,  approximate 1/2 acre lot.

In August the new owner of Parcel S11A (part of Snoqualmie Ridge Division ll) submitted an application to the City of Snoqualmie proposing to build a two-story, 5,000 sq. ft. office building, along with associated parking and other site improvements.

Senior Planner Jason Rogers said the plans are still preliminary and cautioned that they are not yet approved. Many times, design plans are altered as staff conduct required reviews and planning commission members weigh in.

The project is currently undergoing a Phase I Mixed Use Consistency Review. No potential tenants have been specified. Access to the proposed building would be via the existing driveway currently used by the Montessori school.

Parcel S11A is at the entrance to the Deer Park neighborhood, near Timber Ridge Elementary School and across the street from the Woodlands Townhome complex.
