New Director Appointed for Snoqualmie’s Park and Public Works

City Clerk Deb Estrada administered the Oath of Office to Mike Chambless at the February 14 City Council meeting, where he was confirmed by the City Council as Parks and Public Works Director for the City of Snoqualmie.

He will begin work on February 28, 2022.

Chambless brings more than 18 years of management experience (11 years at the executive level) in Parks, Public Works, and Recreation. 

This includes experience as an aquatics coordinator and as a park ranger. He most recently served as Interim Director of the Resource Management Agency for San Benito County, California. He also served as the Public Works Administrator for the City of Hollister, California.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University in natural sciences with a minor in industrial safety. 

“Mike’s go-getter and results-oriented approach makes him a great fit for our organization,” said Snoqualmie City Administrator Mike Sauerwein.
