Mulitple Police Departments Execute Warrant Operation in Snoqualmie, Connected to Eastern WA Crimes

There was some noticeable police activity in downtown Snoqualmie late this morning through the afternoon hours.  The operation, which involved multiple area police departments, is all wrapped up now.

According to Snoqualmie Police Department Public Information Officer, Captain Nick Almquist, shortly after 10:30AM, Thursday, December 6, 2012, Snoqualmie Police Officers, Kittitas County Deputies, Seattle Police Detectives and the King County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team acted on a search warrant associated with a residence in the 8500 block of 384th Ave SE in downtown Snoqualmie.

This multiple police department warrant operation stemmed from crimes committed in Kittitas County, which borders King County on the east side of the Cascades, and had possible connections in the Seattle area.

No one was home when officers executed the search warrant operation and the investigation was complete several hours later.

The Snoqualmie Police Department does not have any charges pending from this investigation.

There is no information available at the moment regarding the nature of the crimes that resulted in the search of the Snoqualmie home.
