Mount Si makes U.S. News 2018 Best High Schools List, ranks 18th in state

On May 18th the Snoqualmie Valley School District announced that Mount Si High School had made the 2018 U.S. News & World Report Best High Schools list.

The annual report recognizes the high performing public schools in the country. According to the district announcement, Mount Si High School was ranked 18th in Washington State and received a silver medal for placing among the highest performing public high schools.

U.S. News reviews math, reading, and college readiness data to compile its annual Best High Schools list. Schools receive gold, silver or bronze medals based on state assessment test performance and college readiness, but only gold or silver medal schools get ranked on the annual list.

In Washington, U.S. News awarded 9 gold medal, 38 silver medal, and 41 bronze medal to various schools. Nationally, Mount Si High School was ranked 1,243rd out of 20,500 high schools reviewed..
