Mount Si Football Coach Kinnune Included in Best High School Coach in Western Washington Poll

Last week, revered and longtime Mount Si High School Football coach, Charlie Kinnune, was listed as one of six coaches in USA Today High School Sports Best KinnuneVote[High School] Football Coach in Western Washington poll.

It seems Coach Kinnune is getting a lot of Snoqualmie Valley community support in the poll.

After almost a week of voting, Kinnune currently sits in first place, with 44% of the votes. Other coaches in the poll include O’Dea Coach Monte Kohler, Skyline Coach Mat Taylor, Bellevue Coach Butch Goncharoff, Marysville Pilchuck Coach

Mount Si Football opens its 2014 season this Friday, September 5th, 7PM, at home (Wildcat Stadium) against Woodinville High School.

Mount Si High School moved up to the KingCo 4A conference this year due to school enrollment increasing. The move from 3A to 4A is expected to make games this season more competitive for the Mount Si Wildcats.

It’s hard to tell when Best High School Football Coach in Western Washington voting ends, but you can cast your vote HERE. Congratulations Coach Kinnune.
