Mount Si Cheer Places 6th at National Championships

Fresh off their state championship title, the Mount Si Cheer Squad headed to Orlando, Florida this week to compete in the Universal Cheerleader Association’s National High School Cheerleading Championship at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Walt Disney World – and compete they did.

The Mount Si Wildcat Cheer Squad placed 6th out 30 teams from across the country in the medium varsity, non-tumbling division.

On Saturday, February 9th, they qualified for the final round of competition as the 18th seed.  Today, they moved up and finished in 6th place.

Congratulations Mount Si Cheer: Amanda Antoch, Erin Antoch, Hailey Barrett, Katy Black, Jessica Canyock, Gretchen Chase, Kirstie Clark, Johanna Cranford, Mikaelyn Davis, Miranda Gillespie, Natalie Holmes, Danielle Kraycik, Nicki Mostofi, Karli Rogers and Amanda Smith – as well as cheer coaches Jessii Stevens and Travis Anderson!
