Mount Si Baseball Plays Safeco Field Tomorrow, March 30th

The Seattle Mariners home opener may be a week away, but Safeco Field is being worked in by local high school baseball teams during the Mariners High School Baseball Classic this weekend – including Mount Si.

Saturday, March 30, 2013, at 4PM, Mount Si takes on neighboring Issaquah High at Safeco Field.  Admission is free.  Parking is $5  – and the weather is set to be perfect, with sunny skies and about 65 degrees.  It will be a perfect, roof open day at Safeco Field.

To top it all off, the Mariners and Safeco Field are debuting their new, mammoth video screen – 56 feet tall by 200 feet wide – the largest video screen in all of major league baseball. Two years ago when Mount Si played at Safeco, the video screen was running so hopefully it will be again tomorrow.

Mount Si racked up three blowout wins in their last three games, including knocking off Lynnwood High School 13-1 on Tuesday, March 26th.

Go Wildcats!
