Wouldn’t you love to ride a train powered by a Steam Locomotive… get a feel for that first run? During Railroad Days, the Santa Cruz and Portland Cement Locomotive 2, a 1909-built Porter locomotive, will let you step back in time to the early days of Snoqualmie.

Snoqualmie Depot excursions run Friday – Sunday, August 14th-16th at 11:30 AM, 1PM; 2:30PM; 4PM; 4:45PM. These runs go from the depot to Snoqualmie Falls and back only.

North Bend Depot excursions also happen August 14th-16th at  Noon; 1:30PM; 3PM; 4:30PM. These runs have no return to North Bend, but will get you into Snoqualmie for the festivities.

Railroad Days is the annual community festival celebrating Snoqualmie’s spirit and origins as a railroad and logging town and also as the home of the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe. Volunteer firemen and their wives organized the first festival in 1938, and the popular event is still going strong.  Last year about 10,000 visitors attended the festival.

The event is held in Historic Snoqualmie, in and around the Northwest Railway Museum. The 77th edition of Snoqualmie Railroad Days will feature traditional favorites: Steam Train Excursions, Firefighters Pancake Breakfast, Grand Parade, Entertainment stages featuring Amazing Musicians, Legends Car Club Show, Vendors, Arts in the Park, the Plein Air Paintout, Children’s Paint Junction, Kids’ Field of Fun, Wine and Beer Gardens, Timbersports demonstratins, History Comes Alive, Railroad Days Fun Run and free Wagon rides.
