Dennis Todd of Todd’s Towing in North Bend was a familiar face and beloved member of the Snoqualmie Valley community. He passed away peacefully in his home on March 16, 2015 of natural causes.
This Saturday, April 18, 2015, a Memorial Service and large tow truck funeral procession, consisting of around 60 trucks, will honor the highly respected member of the Washington State towing family and 25-year tow truck company owner.
The tow truck procession will leave the I-90/SR 18 Weigh Station around 12:45PM, heading to Snoqualmie Pass and then back down to the Snoqualmie Valley, exiting at Truck Town and then proceeding through North Bend on North Bend Way and into Snoqualmie along Bendigo Blvd/SR 202 where a Memorial Service for Dennis will be held at the Snoqualmie Eagles Lodge at 2PM.
Memorial Service attendees are asked to wear their best pair of overalls to honor Dennis, who was never seen out and about in the community in anything other than his trademark overalls.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that a donation be made to the Survivor’s Fund at the International Towing and Recovery Museum in Chattaooga.
According to Snoqualmie Police Chief Steve McCulley, Dennis Todd was a long time supporter of law enforcement and always willing to lend a hand when needed.
During his days with the Washington State Patrol serving the North Bend/Snoqualmie Pass area, McCulley said Dennis was always a welcomed sight when he arrived on collision scenes, often times in the middle of heavy snow storms.
Chief McCulley said Dennis Todd will definitely be missed by Valley residents.
