AS OF 2 P.M. ON MARCH 6: FTA has canceled their training
The Washington State Fire Training Academy (FTA) has notified the City of North Bend that it will be hosting a military training exercise from 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, through 1 a.m. on Friday, March 7.
The training may include loud noises simulating weapon fire or explosions and helicopter activity overhead.
The FTA is located just east of North Bend off I-90 exit 38. It protects the citizens of Washington State through training, collaboration, and support of the fire service and other public safety professionals.
