Light up North Bend Holiday Lighting Contest Winners Announced, Tour Map Debuts

Representatives from the North Bend Downtown Foundation and Economic Development Commission took to North Bend streets Saturday night, December 12th, to judge 27 participants in the City’s first-ever holiday lighting contest: ‘Light up North Bend.’

19 North Bend residences, 4 businesses, and 4 neighborhoods entered this year’s contest. Judges were impressed with the turnout and community response to the inaugural lighting contest.

“Due to pandemic restrictions, the City was not able to host its popular Holly Days festival,” explained North Bend Communications Manager Danna McCall. “Light up North Bend” provided our residents an alternative event to showcase our holiday spirit and the interactive map offers a safe drive-thru tour to admire participants’ lighting creativity.”
