“Leisure Time Radio Show” Dinner Theater at Snoqualmie Falls Theater in Fall City

Join us on a raucous, fast-paced adventure with the “Leisure Time with Leisure Time Radio Show!” As the live studio audience, you will be transported back to the late 1930’s early 1940s to enjoy the radio drama “Venus and Mars – A Scott Bravely Adventure.”

In this episode, we journey with our hero on his first flight to the moon in his prototype A-1 rocket ship, where he uncovers a secret lunar plan to invade earth! Then, we find ourselves on the dark and rainy streets of Seattle in 1938, where you can’t trust anyone, especially a beautiful woman with a deadly secret in “The Lady Was Dangerous.”

Finally, we join “Lady Pemberly,” Suffragette Adventurer, who travels the world with her loyal manservant, Crumple, seeking danger and intrigue for Queen, country, and a really proper cup of tea!

Feel like you’ve gone back in time with a full Foley Table, employing authentic sound effects, hilarious commercials, and amazing songs of the era, further brought to life with live music by the Cascade Jazz Ensemble, performing as John Chmaj and the Chmajbees.

Directed by William Stone, the “Leisure Time with Leisure Time Radio Show” returns for its third installment of the” Leisure Time Series.”

This popular series, performed by the Black Dog Players of the Black Dog Arts Coalition (BDAC) in Snoqualmie, and hosted by the Snoqualmie Falls Forest Theater in Fall City, is the brainchild of talented local playwright Jaime Gower, who continues to entertain us with his comical and clever take on the golden age of radio. The BDAC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that brings music, theater and arts to the Snoqualmie Valley.

Tickets include dinner (service starts at 5:00 pm) in an intimate setting, with the theater portion starting as soon as everyone is served. Dinner features our famous alder-wood grilled entrees (steak, salmon, or veggie kabobs) and accompanying sauces, salad, fruit, baked potato, rolls, butter, beverage (lemonade, ice tea, coffee, water), and frozen dessert treat—sodas, beer, and wine available for purchase.
