Updated: Late Afternoon Snow and Hail Snarls Traffic in the Snoqualmie Valley

The pass opened at approximately 11 pm

Update 8:48 pm: Eastbound I-90 is open. Westbound remains closed at Ellensburg with no estimated reopening time. Both directions of State Route 18 from Interstate 90 to Issaquah-Hobart Road Southeast have reopened.

Update 7:17 pm: According to the Snoqualmie Police Department, Highway 202 is closed between Stone Quarry in Snoqualmie and NW 14th St in North Bend for a single-vehicle collision. A power pole was sheered off, requiring PSE to respond before the vehicle and occupants can be safely extricated. There are no reported injuries.

This will be an extended closure with no current time for re-opening. Please avoid the area and use Park/Boalch and North Bend Way as detours.

According to the Washington State Patrol and the Washington Department of Transportation, Highway 18 closed in both directions over Tiger Mountain Summit between I-90 & Issaquah-Hobart Rd SE for multiple collisions and spinouts.

Use alternate routes; there is no estimated time for reopening.

I-90 over Snoqualmie Pass is closed in both directions due to multiple collisions and blocking vehicles. Eastbound traffic stops at exit 34 near North Bend. Westbound traffic stops at Exit 106 Ellensburg, Exit 84, Cle Elum, and Exit 71 Easton.

It is snowing heavily at the pass with no estimated opening time.
