Authorities are asking for help identifying the driver of an SUV connected to a serious hit-and-run earlier this month near North Bend.
The King County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened May 9 at approximately 1:30 p.m. near Southeast 140th Street and 463rd Avenue Southeast.
Detectives are looking for a 2024-2026 black Jeep Wagoneer or Grand Wagoneer believed to have struck a bicyclist riding along the south shoulder of Southeast 140th Street. The bicyclist suffered serious injuries.

Investigators say the victim was struck by the vehicle’s passenger side mirror, which was recovered at the scene after the SUV fled eastbound.
Anyone with information about the vehicle or driver is asked to call 911. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound through the P3 Tips app, by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or online at P3Tips.com.
