Inspirational Lacrosse Movie Crooked Arrows at North Bend Theater This Friday – Support Mount Si Lacrosse!

Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports across the country.  Its popularity is also exploding in the Snoqualmie Valley.

Unfortunately, as of now, lacrosse is not a school-sanctioned sport.  With tight school district budgets and shrinking state education funding, it doesn’t appear lacrosse will become “school-sanctioned” anytime soon; a status that would provide the sport additional funding.  As a result, local lacrosse club, Mount Si Lacrosse, relies on fundraising to drive down the cost to play the expensive sport – all in an effort to promote the participation of all interested valley youth.

One such fundraiser is happening this Friday, July 13th, at 8PM.  The North Bend Theater will host a special showing of the inspiration movie, Crooked Arrows, which chronicles the story of a Native American reservation lacrosse team and their coach as they compete in an elite prep school lacrosse league.

Admission to the special 8PM showing of Crooked Arrows is $10 and includes a small popcorn and soda.  A portion of the proceeds goes to support the Mount Si Lacrosse Club.  The North Bend Theater is located at 125 Bendigo Blvd in North Bend.  You can buy tickets online and get more event information HERE.

Lacrosse parent, Sarah Burns, says,  “This is the best movie!  Anyone who gets a chance to see this should.”
