Important Reminder: Submit Your Candidacy for the November General Election by May 15-19

The general election in King County is on November 7th, 2023, and the filing deadline for candidates is rapidly approaching.

If you want to run for office, now is the time to act. The City of Snoqualmie has four City Council positions up for election at the end of 2023: Position 2, Position 4, Position 5, and Position 6.

North Bend also has four City Council positions terms expiring: Position 1, Position 3, Position 5, Position 7 and the Mayor position.

To become a candidate, individuals must complete and file a Declaration of Candidacy, meet the qualifications for the office at the time of filing, and be registered to vote in the district.

For those aiming for a seat on the Snoqualmie or North Bends City Councils, candidates must be registered voters and have been city residents for at least one year. Please visit the King County Elections website to find detailed information regarding candidate filing.
