Updated: I-90 Closed in Both Directions Due to a Multi-Car Collision

Final Update 4:41 AM: I-90 is open in both directions between Easton and North Bend.

Update 11:09 PM: 4 vehicles were involved with minor injuries. A semi headed Westbound struck the concrete jersey barriers which were pushed into Eastbound lanes. This causes three Eastbound vehicles to collide with the barriers and each other. The semi (carrying 62K pounds) rolled over on its side perpendicular to the WB lanes.

Update 10:19 PM: One Eastbound lane is now open. The passenger vehicle involved in the collision has been removed. Westbound remains closed.

ORIGINAL STORY

I-90 is closed in both directions due to a multi-car collision at milepost 66 due to a Semi vs. Concrete Jersey Barrier Collision.

The Westbound Semi rolled over and pushed the barrier into the Eastbound lanes where it struck another vehicle. There are minor injuries.

Westbound traffic is stopped at exit 70, Easton. Eastbound traffic is stopped at exit 34 North Bend.

Drivers should avoid this area as there is no estimated time for reopening.
