Holiday Lights Food Drive: North Bend home with huge display invites community to special event, complete with Christmas Glasses

Feel like seeing a great holiday light display and help community members in need?  It’s possible all month long at Alicia Messa’s North Bend home… and this year kids can try out some pretty cool glasses to enhance the holiday experience.

It’s time again for The Messa Group’s 4th annual Mt. Si Food Bank Food Drive and Animated Christmas Light Display located at 1730 Tannerwood Way SE in North Bend. The Food Drive runs all month long with a collection barrel on the front porch throughout the season. Organizers say donations are very much needed and appreciated.

New this year! This weekend features a special night for the display. Community members are invited you to come on December 9th, from 5-8pm, where volunteers will be handing out donuts, hot cocoa, coffee and cool HOLIDAY CHRISTMAS GLASSES to the first 80 kids who bring a donation.

This light display is always a fun one! You can enjoy the holiday magic of a reindeer singing and lights dancing to a variety of festive tunes. Yes – Dominique the Donkey is back!

Organizers hope folks will  swing by, donate a non-perishable item or two, and enjoy the show. The first 80 kids will be amazed by the holiday spectacles that transform ordinary holiday lights, city lights, street lights into magical holiday images.

For more info visit the Facebook event page.  The food drive runs all month, the holiday spectacles are only offered on December 9th.
