Hey Parents, Need Help Picking a Preschool? Saturday's Preschool Fair May Be Your Solution

Is next year “the year” for you?  Is your child ready for preschool?  Having once been a mom to four children under 6 years old, I remember it well.

In the Snoqualmie Valley there are many preschools and enrichment programs choices.  This Saturday morning, they’ll all be under one roof, ready to tell you about their programs – and help you choose.

Last year’s Fair was a great success, with about 30 preschools and other businesses presenting their services to several hundred Valley attendees. Every family received locally published Resource Guide, listing dozens of local schools, daycare and enrichment organizations in the area. Kid-friendly activities and demonstrations keep children entertained through the morning event.

Parents get an opportunity to meet face-to-face with teachers and administrators from many different schools and other organizations, all in one morning and in one place. Many schools begin their open enrollment periods shortly after the January Fair.

Local preschool owner/director, Mandi Smith, touts the importance of the annual preschool fair for both parents and providers. “The Preschool Fair provides us at The Discovery Preschool with a great opportunity to meet families who are looking for preschool for their child.  We love meeting parents and kids face to face and sharing all we have to offer them for their child’s first school experience.”

Mandi adds, “At our school, we are all about creating lasting relationships with kids and families and the Preschool Fair provides us with a great opportunity to introduce ourselves to the families in our community.”
