Halloween Fun: Fall City family’s creative quest for the perfect costume for their 1-year old

Who’s needs some Halloween-feel-good fun?

One thing I have been enjoying all month long is the Facebook feed of Fall City resident (and former Washington State 5th District Representative) Paul Graves.

Paul and his wife Jenny embarked on a fun adventure in October – one they’ve hash tagged #MonthofPatrickCostumes. Patrick is their one-year old, red-haired son.

It all started while the two were discussing what Patrick should be for Halloween this year. Paul said they quickly realized there are lots of good costumes for redheaded babies – so each day this month they are sharing a photo of a potential costume modeled by Patrick himself and documented on Paul’s Facebook page.

Just when I think there’s no way they can come up with anything else, Paul and Jenny find more creativity. Paul said Patrick is tolerant during most photo sessions – except for his Phillies mascot photoshoot. Patrick did not like Gritty it seems.

With Paul’s permission we put together a slideshow with some of Patrick’s costume options so far. No official word yet on what he will be this Halloween, but I am watching closely since I also have a ginger-haired son.

Let us know which costume you think is the best so far!
