Got Questions for Elected Officials? Town Hall Meeting offers Chance for one-on-one with Mayor, City Council

Curious how the City of Snoqualmie is doing?  Want to know what projects are on the horizon as home building in Snoqualmie Ridge begins to wrap up?  Or maybe just meet your city council representatives?

Well, Thursday, April 28, 2016 is your chance at the Snoqualmie Town Hall Meeting, which happens at the Snoqualmie Valley YMCA at 6:30PM.

Mayor Matt Larson will do his yearly “State of the City” presentation, which will cover the city’s fiscal condition, new businesses coming to the Snoqualmie Ridge Business Park, the Tokul roundabout project, affordable housing development and the city’s research for a potential levy lid lift (yes, that is code for a possible slight tax increase).

There will also be kid activity tables (coloring, crafts, and cookies.) to keep the little ones busy while parents mingle and chat with city council members. City departments will have display tables set up, giving you an idea of just what they do, including Community Development, Finance, Fire, Parks, Police, and Public Works Departments.

Want a chance to pick the brain of a city council member – find out their priorities and goals? This is the perfect opportunity to do just that during a Q & A session with the council.

We are also told there will also be a drawing for recreational door prizes at the end of the Town Hall Meeting – so if you hang around until the end you can find out just what those “recreational” prizes are!

Again – the Snoqualmie Town Hall Meeting will be on Thursday, April 28 at 6:30PM at the Snoqualmie Valley YMCA gymnasium, 35018 SE Ridge Street.

If you have questions – this is a great time to get them answered.
