Get Ready for Some Crowds in Snoqualmie, Thomas the Train Arrived for Back-to-Back Weekends

It seems summertime traffic has set in on the Snoqualmie Valley.  From freeway concrete repairs to downtown revitalization construction, traffic slowdowns seem to be abundant – and the next two weekends will bring thousands of visitors to downtown Snoqualmie as Thomas the Train rolls into the Snoqualmie Depot for his annual summer visit.

Thomas the Tank Engine arrived at the end of June and is preparing for his two big weekends in the Snoqualmie Valley: July 11th-13th and July 18th-20th.

Starting Friday, July 11, 2014, kids will get a thrill when Thomas the Tank Engine™ kicks off his tour stop at the Northwest Railway Museum for the Day Out with Thomas™: The Thrill of the Ride Tour 2014.

This year, Thomas not only takes his fans for a ride, but also talks to them for the very first time. Guests can join Thomas for a special ride to Snoqualmie Falls and also participate in a day filled with fun activities.

The annual summer tradition is hosted by The Northwest Railway Museum, presented by HIT Entertainment and sponsored by MEGA Brand and Hard Rock Hotels.

These two weekends are area residents’ only chance to bring kids to the Day Out With Thomas™ event in the Pacific Northwest.

For two back-to-back weekends, families are invited to take a 25 minute ride with Thomas, meet Sir Topham Hatt®, Controller of the Railway and enjoy a day of Thomas & Friends themed activities like arts & crafts and storytelling . The Northwest Railway Museum will also offer motor car rides, live steam models and model trains.
