Free, Family Outdoor-Themed Festival comes to Meadowbrook Farm

The 2nd annual Snoqualmie Valley Family Nature Club Jamboree is coming to the Valley on Wednesday, August 2nd from 9am-12pm.  This free, outdoor-themed festival features fun, educational, and creative outdoor activities for all ages and abilities. Organizers say it’s a great way to get your kids excited about the outdoors.

Activities will include survival skills, wildlife tracking, scavenger hunts, geocaching, and more. Pick up a passport at the welcome table, visit all the stations and activities to fill it out, then bring it back for a prize.

Participating Organizations: Carnation Farms • Compass Outdoor Adventures • Meadowbrook Farm Preservation Association • Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust • Nature Vision • Puget Sound Energy • Si View Metro Parks • Sound Salmon Solutions • Upper Snoqualmie Valley Elk Management Group • Waskowitz Outdoor School • Wilderness Awareness School

Can’t make the Jamboree? There are free Nature Club activities hosted throughout the year. Each month, a different local organization will host a Saturday outdoor family event. Visit www.savorsnoqualmievalley.org/events for details.
