Drowning Accident at Rattlesnake Lake Leaves Teen Hospitalized

King County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Stanley Seo said on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 4:30PM, KCSO received a relay call from NORCOM (North East King County Regional Public Safety Communication Agency) asking for the KCSO Marine Unit to help at Rattlesnake Lake for a possible drowning.

Seo said the victim, a male in his teens, was pulled from the water near the boat launch and CPR was performed by those who called 911 for help. KIRO News stated the victim was unconscious when pulled from the lake.

Fire and aid crews responded and the victim was transported to Overlake Hospital by ambulance. At this time, Seo said he had no information on the condition of the victim or how long he was submerged.
