Family Fun: ‘Frozen’ Coming to Outdoor Big Screen at Snoqualmie Community Park

Outdoor Movie in the Park – August 28th

Looking for something fun to do on one of the last few evenings before you sent the kids back to school?  Well, the City of Snoqualmie Parks Department is frozentrying to help you out with that – and it seems the weather is going to cooperate, too.

This Thursday, August 28th, at 8PM, the parks department is bringing in a giant (around 40 feet) movie screen and showing Frozen on the lower field at Snoqualmie Community Park, 35018 SE Ridge Street.

So grab the kids, roll out a blanket, bring some snacks (or purchase popcorn at the park) and sing along with your favorite snowman, Olaf…. “In Summer!”  Mt. Si is your backdrop and local weather forecasters say Thursday should be close to 80 degrees.

Grand Opening of Stellar Park – August 28th

The Snoqualmie Parks Department is also hosting a Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Celebration at Stellar Park (i.e. ‘The Train Park’), 34506 Stellar Way SE on August 28t at 4:30PM.

Busy Stellar Park is getting brand new play equipment after 15 years. Barbecued hotdogs will also be available for attendees.
