Fall Forums: Chance to find out where council, mayor, school board candidates stand on issues

Public policy decisions can impact our communities in many significant ways.  Although much public discourse today is about national politics, local elected officials make decisions that often have even greater influence on your family, your neighborhood, your schools, and the economic health of your community.

Elected officials at the local and state level make decisions and set policy related to taxes, labor laws, economic growth, small business assistance, transportation, education of your children, and work force training, among others.   And, between now and election day in November, you can spend some time learning the differences amongst candidates running for some of these important local positions.

The Snoqualmie Valley Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Snoqualmie Valley Record, will again provide Candidate Forums this fall. These forums provide an opportunity for the candidates to explain their positions on important issues and for the public to compare and contrast candidates before voting.

[Please see contact info below to submit specific questions for these candidate forums.]
