Fall Cleaning: Big weekend Recycle event offers chance to get rid of almost everything

Doing some cleaning or organizing? Here’s something that can aid your efforts.

The City of Snoqualmie is hosting its annual residential recycling event at Centennial Fields, 39903 SE Park Street, this Saturday, September 15th from 9AM – 3PM.

As in previous years, the event offers a chance to get rid of almost anything cluttering your home or garage, including old TV’s, other electronics, hazardous materials yard waste and old documents.

This program is only for residential household materials from King County residents, not for commercial or non-profit agencies.  All service providers at the event have the right to refuse any material they deem unacceptable.

Don’t be surprised to encounter long lines. In prior years cars experienced half hour or more waits as the line stretched over to the Snoqualmie Elementary parking lot.

Providers on site include: All Battery Sales and Service, EcoSafe, Emerald Services/Clean Harbors, L&S Tire Company, Northwest Center, Total Reclaim, Waste Management, Shred-it.

For a complete list of accepted and non-accepted items visit the City of Snoqualmie event page.
