Fall City Fire Department hires four new firefighters, ensures full staffing for emergencies

At the January 13, 2020 King County Fire District 27-Fall City Commissioner meeting, Fall City Fire Chief Connor announced the hiring of four new career firefighters, effective January 15th.

According to FCFD, these new hires will ensure full staffing in Fall City when four current firefighters transfer to Eastside Fire and Rescue.

Three of the new hires – Parker Dumas, Dylan Lindberg and Noah Fleming – were all Fall City FD volunteers who already have experience in the district. The fourth hire – Parker McKinnon – was a volunteer firefighter with King
County Fire District 45-Duvall, which shares staff with Fall City when needed.

“This is an exciting time for our department” said Chief Connor. “While we are losing some experienced firefighters, the new hires bring lots of energy to our department.”

The Fire District 27 Commissioners thanked Chief Connor for the swift hiring process, ensuring that the department can continue to safely respond to emergencies.
