A Snoqualmie Police Department dispatcher said construction crews are rock blasting in the area.  She did not say for what construction project, only that it was happening in the area of  SE Jacobia Street, which is in the Aster Creek and Eagle Pointe neighborhoods of Snoqualmie Ridge near I-90.

The dispatcher said there were two other scheduled blasts the morning of May 9th and to expect one more during the afternoon.  Snoqualmie Police Captain, Nick Almquist, said that Weber Construction has three more blasts scheduled for Friday, May 10, 2013.
