DESCRIPTION:Mt Si Artist Guild is honored to have Carol Ross teach  Sumi Ink on Clayboard on April 15\, 2023\, from 9-12:30 PM at Si View Community Center. \nWork using Clayboard and Ink to create a nuanced black-and-white portrait of a bird or animal. Carol Ross is a professional artist with 17 years of experience in many mediums\, from ceramics to painting. \nShe fell in love with the Sumi Ink on Clayboard process after taking a workshop in Arizona. This technique is appropriate for both beginner and experienced artists. \nNo drawing skills are required\, just an observant eye! All equipment and supplies are provided. Students will go home with their own ready-to-hang painting\, as well as a new medium to explore on their own. \nWorkshop Date\, Saturday\, April 15\, 2023\, from 9:00 to 12:30 PM at Si View Community Center. Class size is limited to 12 people\, ages 14 and up. \nThis class will fill up fast\, so please consider registering sooner rather than later. The fee is $60\, which includes all supplies. Both men are on the verge of disclosing amazing ideas: Einstein will publish his special theory of relativity\, and Picasso will paint Les Demoiselles d’Avignon. At the Lapin Agile\, they have a lengthy debate about the value of genius and talent while interacting with a host of other characters. \nThe play attempts to explain\, in a light-hearted way\, the similarity of the creative process involved in great leaps of imagination in art and science. \n\n\nAn additional matinee for this production is Saturday\, 4/29.
