SUMMARY:Carnation Farms-Birding Wildlife Walk
DESCRIPTION:Birding Wildlife Walk\n\n\nFebruary 15 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm\n\n\n\nJoin us at Carnation Farms for a guided birding walk through the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley Floodplain with Martha Jordan\, Founder and Executive Director of the Northwest Swan Conservation Association. Whether rain or shine\, this is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in nature and discover the incredible wildlife that calls the Valley home. \nAspiring photographers\, bring your cameras to capture the stunning scenery. Bird enthusiasts\, don’t forget your binoculars as you work on your life-list. Families are warmly welcome—youth under 18 join for FREE – when accompanied by a trusted adult. \nWe’ll meet at the Farmstand parking lot before taking a walk down past Sikes Lake to Horseshoe Lake\, where trumpeter swans overwinter. Along the way\, we’ll stop at our outdoor classroom for a hands-on learning opportunity where Martha will share her expertise on Trumpeter Swan populations\, habitat protection\, and conservation efforts across farmland and the greater Snoqualmie Area. \nDon’t forget to dress warmly\, bring rain gear\, and wear mud-ready shoes. Carnation Farms is home to a variety of wildlife\, including elk\, fox\, eagles\, swans\, and more. Let’s see what we can discover together—we can’t wait to see you there!
