Encompass Announces the 2024 Inspire Breakfast

Encompass, a source of hope, support, and growth for children and families in the Snoqualmie Valley and Greater Eastside, is proud to announce the upcoming 2024 Inspire Breakfast. The eighth annual event will take place on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 7:30 to 9:00 am in the Snoqualmie Casino Ballroom.

This year’s breakfast will feature a keynote address by Naja Marjan Ramírez, Ph.D., Assistant Professor in Linguistics at the University of Washington. Dr. Ramírez will share her insights on the “Fundamentals of Brain Development: Why Early Experiences Matter and the impact of community support in fostering an environment where children can thrive.

Encompass is thrilled to have long-time Encompass supporters Tavish and Rebecca MacLean as Honorary Chairs of the breakfast. The MacLeans are beloved community members who have generously given their time and talents to many local organizations. Raising three boys in the Snoqualmie Valley, they are dedicated to making it a thriving, healthy place to live.

An Encompass family will share their story about how Encompass services and therapists have supported them on their journey. Chris Cashman, a television and radio veteran who has hosted local events in Seattle, will serve as the emcee for the festivities.

The Inspire Breakfast is more than a meal; it is a gathering of community leaders, educators, local businesses, and parents united in their vision for a community where all children can reach their full potential. It is a morning filled with moving stories, networking, and a shared passion for the Encompass mission. “The Inspire Breakfast is an incredible opportunity for our community to come together to celebrate our mission as we partner with families to build healthy foundations for children,” said Megan Michalson, Director of Development. “The generous support from this event enables Encompass to provide best-in-class services and programs that give children the opportunities to flourish and thrive.”

Encompass would like to acknowledge the generous support of its Premier Sponsor, Nintendo, Gold Sponsors, ABC World Movers, Inc., Heritage Bank, and Pioneer Van Lines.
