Election Filing Deadline has Passed: Who is running for council, mayor and more?

King County Elections week is over, which means we now know who has decided to run for the 21 positions open in the Snoqualmie Valley, including North Bend city council, Snoqualmie city council and mayor, school board and other special district seats.

No one chose to challenge council incumbents Shaffer, Mercer or Supple of Duvall, Koellen of North Bend and Wotton & Christensen of Snoqualmie.

Snoqualmie Councilmember Mayhew has filed for Louis Washington’s seat, which expires in 2025. New Council member Washington has filed for Mayhew’s seat, which has a four-year term.

In North Bend, Suzan Torguson was the only person who filed to fill Mary Miller’s position 7 as Miller has filed to take on incumbent Mayor Rob McFarland.
