Updated: Eastbound Snoqualmie Pass Closed

Update 1045 pm: I-90 is fully open. Traction tires advised eastbound, chains required westbound.

I-90 Snoqualmie pass is closed eastbound at exit 34, eighteen miles west of the summit, due to multiple collisions and spin-outs.

Westbound is open. Chains are required on all vehicles except all-wheel drive. Oversize vehicles are prohibited westbound from milepost 71, Twenty miles east of the summit near Easton.

Travelers will experience added travel time.

It is snowing with slush & ice on the roadway. Currently, there is no estimated time of reopening.
